PDI

Pre-Delivery Inspection

Your car is checked before delivery — by us, independently of the dealer.

Why PDI matters

The highest-risk moment in the transaction.

The gap between purchase commitment and delivery is the highest-risk moment in a car transaction. Manufacturing-date stock, wrong accessories, paint issues — these are frequently discovered after the buyer has signed.

CarBounty's PDI is conducted by a trained field representative at the dealership, before your delivery appointment. It is not a dealer-sponsored check — it is independent.

You receive a written PDI report. If issues are found, you have documented leverage to request resolution before you sign.

PDI is mandatory for every CarBounty-facilitated sale. It cannot be waived.

Outcomes

What happens after the inspection.

Clean PDI

No issues found. Written report issued. Proceed to delivery with confidence.

Issues found — resolvable

Issues documented. Dealer is notified. Resolution requested before delivery date.

Issues found — unresolvable

Serious issues found. Buyer is informed in writing. Buyer may choose to delay or exit.

PDI reports are sent to the buyer's registered contact before the delivery appointment. No report = no delivery in a CarBounty-facilitated transaction.
